It's Friday and the weekend is finally here!  I know it was a short week but I'm still always excited to see Friday and get into weekend relaxation mode.  Today I'm starting a new series which I'm planning to post either weekly or bi-weekly, sharing some interesting and fun articles from around the web that I have recently read.  Most of the articles will pertain to the topics of this blog, fashion, beauty, travel, home decor, food, health, etc.  I'm one of those people who is always looking for inspiration on the web and I find a lot of great reads, so why not share...

This home tour, complete with before and after pictures and a video to explain the layout, is nothing short of truly inspirational.  You'd never guess that it's a rental!  It's a must read/ see.

Creamy Pumpkin Spaghetti with Garlic Kale
With pumpkin season about to kick off I've been looking over some of my favorite pumpkin recipes.  This one from Pinch of Yum is so easy and adding kale makes it healthy, sort of.  I probably won't wait long before I start cooking up some other pumpkin goodies too, hopefully I'll have a recipe post soon.  Do you have any go to pumpkin recipes that you can't wait to make this time of year?

The 5 Vases You Need For Fresh Flowers
This piece by Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere is about a week old but has such great advise that I bookmarked it on my laptop.  I realized that I own one bud vase which seems strange as I'm a person who loves to have fresh flowers in her home at all times.  I obviously need to step up my game.

Best Places to Travel in October
This travel piece caught my eye because my husband and I just booked a trip in October and I was hoping our destination made the list.  It didn't.  But as soon as I read it I started to think about going to Savannah next fall.  Savannah is a gorgeous city!

Hike the Hudson Valley
Speaking of our trip in October, we are headed upstate New York to hike the Kaaterskill Waterfalls.  We are staying for two nights at a nice lodge.  I will report back on the lodge, the hike, the falls and where we ate.

Ledges Hotel
While planning our trip to Hike the Hudson Valley, I stumbled upon this boutique hotel located in Pennsylvania, situated on top of a waterfall.  It's stunning.  I called to see if they had availability for our dates but they were booked for a wedding.  Genius!  Now that is a romantic wedding location and they have two dog friendly room.

Football season started last night with a big game between The Patriots and The Chiefs, woo hoo!
In my house we are Philadelphia Eagles fans, they play this Sunday at 1pm.  I'm still deciding what to make for the first Eagles game of the season, I'm thinking one of these recipes;
Beer Cheese Skillet Dip
Sloppy Joe Dip
Reuben nachos
Jalapeño Popper Dip
Help!  They all look so good.  Are you guys making anything special for football Sunday?

The 20 Best Podcast Episodes from Summer 2017
I have just gotten into podcasts.  I like to have a light noise on in the background while I work so after reading this piece I decide to give "Locked Up Abroad" a try.  I will report back

The Best Reads Of September Are Right Here
This piece rounds up some great reads.  It's that time of year when a good book, a cozy blanket and a cup of hot tea is an after work must.

On a final note I just received by first Bootay Bag yesterday!  It's a $12 a month subscription that send you 2 pairs of underwear every month.  I love the idea and also love that they donate $1 to The Melanoma Foundation for every hashtag #undermatters posted on Instagram.  I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the undies I received, not that I was expecting cheap undies but the quality is above some of my usual underwear purchases (VS).  You can find out more about Bootay Bag here.

Thank you for reading, feel free to leave a comment and have a lovely weekend!
