Wedding Wednesday - Wedding Shoes

by - October 04, 2017

Today I'm taking a break from my regularly scheduled Wishlist Wednesday and changing it up with an installment of Wedding Wednesday.  After the tragic Las Vegas shooting on Sunday night I need a pick me up (don't you?), something to brighten the mood.  And what does that better than the idea of weddings (aka love), shoes and shopping, all in one post!

You may remember from one of my first Wedding Wednesday psost that I was apprehensive about planning a wedding but all in when it came to picking out a wedding dress.  I felt the same way about the shoes... I couldn't wait to shop.  I perused fancy party shoes online for weeks and knew that I'd probably end up getting a pair of Badgley Mischka Shoes, the reasons being the heel height, the design and the color.  They have several heel heights not all sky high, I wanted to remain close to my regular height with a low heel hight of 2 1/2 inches.  The shoes I picked are a pale pink color and have a flower on top of the peep toe which I thought was cute and playful.  Honestly no one really saw my shoes because of my dress length but it was cute to have anyway.

I can not find my shoes on the internet, I think they might have been discontinued, so I have compiled a list of shoes I'd pick if I was getting married tomorrow, or sometime soon.
I hope you enjoy.

Daisy Embellished Pointy Toe Pump $149 (on sale, regularly $198)
These are my favorite even though they are so different from what I wore.  The sparkle is so sweet and the heel isn't too high, they look like the type of shoe that could really make a girl feel special.

also comes in a peep toe version Alifair Open Toe Pump $210
Similar to my shoes, girly and flirty and the prettiest pale pink color.

The perfect pair of simple yet glitzy shoes, I'd be sure not to ruin these and I'd wear them again.  I ruined my wedding shoes in the rain and will not be wearing them again.

If you are a die hard Sex and the City fan, like me, this shoe is most likely your dream wedding shoe.  My issues with this shoe were that the heel was to high, the color might bleed if it rains and this expensive shoe would be ruined if it rained.  Well it did rain at my wedding so I was right, but they now make a shorter heel height found here.  This shoe also now colors in a plethora of colors including, pale pink, a moody grey and ivory.

Hello cutie pie!  This shoe is just too much, it's adorable.  If I had any kinds of guts I would have gone for a crazy, fun shoe like this little glittery sneaker, it also comes in cream, silver, pewter, black gold and a crazy pink.  And what a plus for your feet to not be aching at the end of the night.

This is the perfect strappy sandal for those on a budget.  It also comes in blush patent leather, pewter faux leather, rose gold faux leather and silver faux leather.

With it being fall and the winter months approaching this pretty wine colored heel would be a fun pop of color.  The shoe is actually velvet which is really having a moment right now and the bow in the back is just darling, you're feet might be a little cold but at least they'd be pretty!

And on more fall/ winter shoe.  The embellished details on this one make them look like a really fun dancing shoe.

I hope you enjoyed my wedding shoe picks and have a great day!
