Valentine's Day Dress

by - January 28, 2018

When it comes to Valentine's Day K and I usually opt for a romantic night at home with a good bottle of wine.  He usually brings me flowers and I usually cook him one of his favorite meals.  But this year we will be on a plane home from Florida on Valentine's Day.  I know it sounds awful but from here in Pennsylvania the flight is only two hours so it's really not that bad, plus we will be together and happy, that's what really matters.  In lieu of Valentine's Day of February 14th we celebrated this past Saturday night with a trip to the Mercer Museum in Doylestown, Pa.  The museum shares a large campus with Fonthill Castle, which is a beautiful sight, but I actually prefer the museum (you can tour both).  I prefer the museum because it is a large, airy, modern space that houses a historical collection of artwork, objects, clothing, tools, etc from the American 18th and 19th centuries.  Afterwards we headed out for tapas and wine, it was perfect because the weather was nice and there were no Valentine's Day crowds.  I wore a flowy red dress I picked at H&M, an open front black jacket, my favorite black heels and a vintage clutch.  The clutch belonged to my father's mom and has the most beautiful details, I cherish it.   I also posted a vintage clutch that belonged to my Abuela (that's grandma in Spanish, I'm Puerto Rican) in last Monday's post.

All outfit details are below, enjoy!
