Saying Goodbye To Cherry Season

by - August 19, 2018

It's that time of year when we have to wrap our heads around the fact that another summer will soon be coming to an end.  Here is the Northeast, this summer has been extremely rainy and humid, which is mostly unusual due to the rain.  Humidity is a Northeastern thing, but at this level maybe a little much in comparison to previous years.  I am trying my hardest not to complain because I'd rather this weather than snow and 10 degrees days.
But if I am being truly honest, I am looking forward to fall.  Very much.  With the end of summer approaching humidity is one thing I am happy to say goodbye to, but fresh summer fruits like cherries, I wish I could enjoy year round.  I will also partially miss the simple dresses of summer, like this cute cherry print I picked up the other day.  But then again, some days I look forward to the more layered outfits of fall and winter.  Luckily, I think this little dress will look great, come fall, with my fitted leather jacket and a black hat.  Maybe even with knee high boots and a chunky knit sweater.  This dress was a last minute, summer purchase because I felt the print was too cute not to own and I absolutely love the squared off neckline.
